There are plans available on the Internet for very little. You can buy a set of plans for under $10. However, then you have to buy all the materials yourself which can be very time-consuming and frustrating.
All in all, the best wind turbines can be achieved in many ways. You really just have to take the time and reflect on what is it worth to you to invest your time and energy in building one of these devices. Is your objective really to have wind energy or is your objective to do the work yourself and learn the science?
