You need to slow down and make sure that the steps you take are scientifically in line with what the bigger wind farm companies are doing. If you copy their analytically-based approach to how to size a wind turbine, you will not be far off the mark and you will come as close as you possibly can optimizing your particular situation at your house.
While wind turbines for homes are not a 100% solution to all of your energy costs, they can make a big dent in them and it is worth your while to spend the time to get them right the first time.
